Bakery - Kitchen Supervisor / Manager – Le Pain Quotidien Hungary (LPQ Hungary)

The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of a Le Pain Quotidien store’s kitchen department. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for stock control, the full ordering process, quality control and Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements. is also in charge of the kitchen staff, from their training to their career development via their administration and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- to operate and be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen in the store
- ensures the kitchen's smooth running, exceptional service, and excellent food quality.
- to manage and maintain all controllable operational costs within the budgetary limits
- to plan, organise and supervise the workload of the team
- to know, understand and be able to cover all sections within your area, setting high standards and being an example to the team
- lead and developed a kitchen team to deliver customers good, fresh, quality food
- prepare and control all work in accordance with the General Manager’s and company’s requirements
- ensure all kitchen equipment is correctly used
- ensure all ingredients/food items are correctly stored and used
- produce the menu to correct portion specifications
- produce the menu to correct quality specifications
- train kitchen staff on F&B management to the appropriate level
- ensure the store always achieves the highest Food Hygiene, Health and Safety standards
- take all necessary hygiene, safety and security measures to create and maintain the safest environment for employees and customers.
Qualifications:
- ready to join on the 1st of June
- experience: min. 3 years of experience in kitchen supervisory
- languages: Native Hungarian speaking and acceptable communication in English
