We are looking for a Shift Leader
We are looking for an honest, enthusiastic, and experienced Restaurant Shift Leader for a well-reputed Indian restaurant in the city center of Budapest.
Fluency in both English and Hungarian is required. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude towards teamwork, a sharp eye for detail, and prior experience in a fine dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- ensure smooth and high-quality service at all times
- maintain compliance with all restaurant legislative and regulatory requirements
- handle daily administrative tasks, workflows, and staff rosters
- actively participate in daily operations, supporting and assisting the team when needed
- manage reservations and guest communication
- oversee cash handling and related tasks
- distribute and coordinate tasks among staff
- assist in the selection, training, and development of employees
- support procurement of new equipment and oversee maintenance of existing assets
- assist in sourcing specialized food items
Requirements:
- proven experience in a fine dining environment
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- excellent communication skills in Hungarian and English
