Position Open: Sommelier
Location: 1092 Budapest, Erkel utca 18. Hungary
Contract: Full-time - 40 hours per week, Wednesday-Sunday 15:00-23:00
Availability: Immediate or to be agreed upon
About Us:
We are an Italian Wine Bar with a genuine passion for wine, tradition, and quality. We carefully select excellent Italian labels and offer our customers a unique experience, including tastings, events, and personalized consultations.
What We're Looking For:
- a passionate, motivated sommelier with a solid knowledge of the world of wine
- the candidate will work closely with the team to enhance the wine shop's selection, welcome customers, and guide them in choosing the perfect wine
Requirements:
- passion for wine and knowledge of the main Italian and international labels
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- availability to work on bank holidays
- experience in wine shops, wine bars or restaurants
- high level knowledge of English language, Italian language is a plus
Main duties:
- advising customers on wine selection
- managing the cellar and display
- organizing and supporting tastings and events
- constantly updated on the world of wine
