Our clientele is predominantly foreign, and our team and partners are a mix of Hungarians and foreigners, so an advanced level of written and spoken English and Hungarian is an absolute must for this role.
Other necessary skills, attributes and experience include:
-Previous experience in managing a Food & Beverage business, whether on a higher level or middle-management
-Strong team management skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively
-An affinity for problem-solving and creating structures and processes for the team to follow
-An avid interest and familiarity with traveller culture and behaviour
-A customer-oriented approach to hospitality and service management
-Reliability and self-motivation in managing projects of all sizes from conception to completion
-Flexibility and willingness to work according to the seasonal needs of the business
Other desirable, though not mandatory, knowledge and experience include:
-Familiarity with all applicable laws and regulations for F&B businesses
-Previous experience in building processes and structures for a new business or team
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing & Communications or related fields
-Mixology certificate or experience working in a premium cocktail bar
-Experience working in the tourism industry
-Familiarity with marketing strategies and tactics relevant to the industry
-Experience or familiarity with interior design, graphic design or other applied arts
Duties & Responsibilities
Team Management
-Recruiting, training and onboarding new members of the bar team
-Scheduling of bar staff and floor managers
-Providing ongoing training and instruction for all team members working on the events
-Arranging team buildings and implementing incentive programs for team members to keep the team motivated and unified
-Addressing complaints from/about team members and handling disciplinary procedures where necessary
Customer relations management
-Actively gather feedback from staff and customers about our service, and find areas for improvement wherever possible
-Consult with team members and managing partners to discuss emerging problems, and implement solutions wherever possible
-Ensure that all team members are adhering to our service goals and standards at all times
Marketing & Communications management
-Ensure that all internal communications such as menus and ticket prices are up to date at all times
-Take an active role in designing and implementing effective visual communications with our customers in all FOH areas
-Consult with the Marketing team to plan and provide content for seasonal campaigns, promotions and other initiatives
Venue and Service Management
-Plan and implement improvements to the venue and its installations, design and overall impression
-Consult with the marketing team and managing partners to plan and implement improvements and additions to our offerings
Active Service Management
-Coordinating all teams of staff and external personnel from set-up to packdown of the day’s events
-Overseeing the delivery of our services to the highest standard to maximise guest satisfaction
-Handling emerging situations in a professional and constructive manner
-Working hours & salary:
40 hours / week, including at least 1 full day of active service
-Flexible hours, opportunity to work from home part of the time.
-Net monthly salary: HUF 600,000-700,000, pending experience
