As a member of the Kitchen Staff, you will be responsible for dealing with supplier deliveries, ensuring the correct storage and rotation of all ingredients, and actively supporting the culinary team in the preparation of food. You are responsible for maintaining the kitchen's strict hygiene standards and ensuring the Back of House is set up for a successful, efficient service shift.
Tasks:
- support the kitchen team with daily food preparation throughout the shift, following exact company recipes
- keep up to date with food prep tasks during the shift to make sure line service is never slowed down
- ensure the correct and safe use of kitchen equipment and utensils in line with Food Safety regulations
- works with culinary colleagues to provide guests with the most efficient service, in line with LPQ standard
- communicates effectively within the kitchen to always ensure the highest possible standards, providing smooth and timely food service
- keeps food preparation workstations and kitchen areas spotlessly clean in line with Food Safety regulations
- demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn, improve, and work with others, helping maintain kitchen team spirit
- ensure correct receipt of supplier deliveries, including checking temperature, expiry dates, and intact packaging
- ensure the correct, organized storage of all food deliveries as per company standards, Food Safety regulations, and strict stock rotation (FIFO) rules
