Bartender with Wine Knowledge
Position: Bartender / Wine Specialist
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Employment type: Full-time
Working days and hours: from Wednesday till Sunday from 15.00 till 23.00.
About Us:
We are Terra Budapest – Italian Wine Bar located in the heart of Budapest, known for our excellent and exclusive selection of Italian wines and quality service. We are looking for a passionate Bartender with strong wine knowledge to join our dynamic team.
Main Responsibilities:
- prepare and serve cocktails, aperitifs, and coffee-based beverages
- present and serve wines by the glass and by the bottle
- advise guests on wine selection and food & wine pairings
- maintain the wine list and assist in stock management
- ensure a clean, organized, and professional bar environment
- provide excellent guest experience, with attention to details
Requirements:
- previous experience as a bartender or mixologist (minimum 1–2 years)
- solid wine knowledge (grape varieties, wine regions, tasting skills)
- enthusiasm for food & wine pairing
- strong communication and customer service skills
- professional appearance and attention to detail
- team player, flexible with working hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- english required, Italian is an advantage; other languages are a plus
- sommelier certification (WSET, AIS, etc.) is an asset but not mandatory
