Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team at Mooi Café. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with high-quality coffee, values consistency, and takes pride in creating a great guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- prepare and serve coffee and beverages to Mooi standards
- operate the espresso machine and grinder with care and consistency
- maintain cleanliness of the bar, coffee station, and equipment
- prepare basic drinks, juices, and café beverages
- communicate clearly with the service and kitchen teams
- handle payments and POS system accurately
- follow hygiene, safety, and allergen-awareness standards
What We’re Looking For:
- previous barista experience preferred
- basic understanding of coffee preparation and milk texturing
- calm, reliable, and organized under pressure
- friendly and professional communication with guests
- attention to detail and cleanliness
- ability to work as part of a team
